Introduction Marketing is seen by many entrepreneurs as something annoying. It is necessary but not fun. It’s a trick, you’re going to sell people something. Marketing from your heart is about all activities that you connect with your customer. No sales tricks but your passion is the main driver behind your marketing activities. Like the majority of the self-employed, I find cold acquisition very difficult and certainly not fun. How nice is it when you can talk to people from your passion. That is the main reason for me to write this booklet: this form of marketing is my passion and with that, I want to help self-employed people find more customers with what they prefer to do! Who are you doing it for? In practice, I often notice that entrepreneurs know exactly which product they offer.

But when I ask to describe their target group, it starts to falter. Everyone can actually use it, I often hear. And of course, never everyone is your customer.
